fantasy land
I'm a fan of fantasy land, but that's all I am. I live in it every time I leave this place; this quiet somber abode, to present myself in accordance with the necessary garments that signify my position in society. If what is seen does not fit the position, then 7 times out of ten anything said will be lost in translation because the other actors cannot get over the fact that the uniform is not fitting. We expect certain things from people who wear certain uniforms. We count on their ability to follow through in their presentation with hard knowledge and fact based, un-ideological trust and truth. I may be a fan of fantasy land, and all knowledge may be fictitious outside the one who interprets, but at the very least we should be able to expect certain things from certain people who wear certain clothes. Once that trust is broken, the way back can be a long one in societies eyes but it is your eyes, your perception that matters the most; so long as your perception falls in line with everyone Else's perceptions. We all have to be fans of fantasy land because we are all a part of it. We are nothing more than players on a stage, a temporary stage at that. Maybe the truth is the unreal is more real than the real could ever be. Maybe we become butterflies or gophers in the next cycle. Maybe we don't. Maybe it is something real, something we can touch again, but this time with softer hands and gentler hearts. I am a fan of fantasy land because I have to be. LLc 98.2
