It's really simple: No lights, a candle or two, a friend... or not, good smoke, and no interruptions from anybody or anything. If you invite someone over and they bring a phone, the phone gets the hose again... and you listen to Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. You deserve to be totally relaxed and totally happy don't you? shh, I think you do.
It is very possible to be surrounded by people who say they love you... and be totally alone. It is possible to be married with children... and be all alone on the inside. Some of the happiest looking people are actually suffering on the inside. The best actors I have ever known have also been the most troubled.
