frustrating time
What I enjoy is how we hardly ever change. That old saying, "Once a smart ass always a smart ass!" seems to hold true. I suspect as we get older we learn to behave better in certain ways but the memories remain the same. We still harbor the same feelings we had when we were children whether we like it or not. Whatever turned us on when we were in the fifth grade will still turn us on in our old age. For example, when I was a kid I was turned on by the idea of catching the uncatchable ball. I was spiderman out there when it came to snagging one down the line or popping one over the plate; or at least I thought I was. Hell, even if I missed one I let it fly over me like a leer jet. Most of the time these days rarely do I have the opportunity to let the child in me out to play. Mostly he remains inside and huddled in the corner; overtaken by frustration and time. LLc 98.2
