When you first get into coin searching for errors, you really want to believe that every single 1969s you come across is a doubleddie coin. Over time, every 1970s you see becomes a small date version; which is impossible to find damn it! I have to say however, not since I was a kid have I had so damn much fun. I can put some tunes on, grab a soda, sit naked in my chair with my coin scope in hand and just one by one check em all out. I really like, well, I don't do banks so, anyways, I like to go to a bank and buy a box of pennies or nickels. For some tellers, it's a serious problem for them to walk to the vault and have to carry a box of anything, anywhere... because they're used to lifting large boxes of bullshit all day! Interestingly, a neighbor stopped by to purchase a couple of smokes last night. I never take money for smokes. What comes around goes around. But something told me to take it. Sure enough what I found was what I believe to be an error coin. I mean, I could go through a hundred rolls of coinage and not come across such an error. I don't even know if it's a known variety or just machine doubling. In any case, it's different.
