It is very possible to be surrounded by people who say they love you... and be totally alone. It is possible to be married with children... and be all alone on the inside. Some of the happiest looking people are actually suffering on the inside. The best actors I have ever known have also been the most troubled.

Nobody should go to their grave without the experience of living without acting as if they are truly happy. Truly happy, if only for a moment, is what we should all strive to be (so long as nobody ever gets hurt in the process). This cannot be done through the actions of other people or the acquisition of things. It can only be done... individually.
