lights a flashing, turning wheels

The mind moves faster and faster like a merry-go-round and the lights begin to flicker. Time loses meaning as one day becomes the next and then the next again. The light of day makes you sway as you look for the darkness of night and the comfort of those familiar places that only survive because of your discrepancies and fear. The lies that accompany these actions must connect to one another as those around you talk of you in different shades of colors and greys. This is not your fault as you are not alone. There are many like you who feel these circular patterns and shimmering lights. True the carnival may never seem to end at times as the ticket sales seem to increase daily, but one can only travel so far in this capacity. The stop is usually a harsh one and still you may have no idea why you just paid to get in almost a week before. LLc 98.2

headly

It gives an outsiders perspective when your alone, as if standing on the sidelines during a game you practiced months or even years to be a part of but cannot play. It is a feeling of isolation while being scrutinized not by other people, but by yourself and how you believe you are being charged by your peers. Being alone also can occur within the structure of a relationship.
In time, it is a fact that the attraction for your partner dwindles like a broom in Iowa. Maintaining a functional and unrepressive order is not possible without the inevitable feelings of isolation and over-all repressiveness of it all. Think of it, nobody else will ever be able to replace your lost time. LLc 98.2
