sad

I saw a little league ball game this evening. Things have changed since I was a kid. No longer is there noise allowed coming from the dug-outs; no more bad talking and/or cussing and there is very little enthusiasm with more porkers. Yes, kids today are lazy and are being pussified by social rules and regulations. They are watching far too much television and playing far too many video games. Our country is heading toward the shithouse with media right in the middle filling our heads with opinion and supposition. Sad we are becoming. LLc 98.2

things rather not

Sometimes they say you have to do things in this life that are contrary to your belief system. Sometimes in order to make ends meet you have to perpetuate the line while trying to either sway it, accept it, or go with it without thinking. I believe most people do the latter simply because everyone realizes we have but a short time here; unless you are born into it, you really have no power to change it. The one's on high have been there for sometime and would much rather keep the system flawed thus securing their own jobs and the jobs of those they know.
Similarly, it is not in the interest of the crime stoppers to stop crime or doctors to solve health problems. Also, It is not in the interest of corporations who build prisons to have less inmates. There must be inequality for a society to function. There must be disease and disorder because how else would we get to feel good about ourselves? Were it not for inequality, labeling, favortism, egocentrism, alcoholism, drug addiction and bowling, the whole system would collapse and we would be penniless. Oh wait, we are penniless. This is why we have to do things we would rather not do, because we have to in order to keep up appearances. LLc 98.2
