One of the biggest gags ever played on the American population is the diet industry. Here is an industry that breaks you down into that vulnerable place where you feel out of control. Why? because the ads on television tell you so. They tell you the problem and offer their solution at the same time. This industry preys on millions of couch warmers who have for years eaten their way into an up and down oblivion. The industry people know this and use it to their financial advantage.
