the everyday you

The explanations do not lie within the bounds of social experience; this is a playground where real and true answers, as true as they can be at any one time, cannot be found without giving proper regard to all those who stand to gain in some way economically or otherwise from the encounter.
No explanation is needed in the social world unless there are individual adjustments that need to be made on the part of any one actor or group of actors. In some cases, a total reconstruction of self needs to take place. This includes presenting oneself in accordance with the larger whole of the community while still maintaining an individual presentation; an impossibility in our social world.
Impression management is the social experience. Everything you need to know about someone is right there in front of you. The explanations in people we seek should be real and true. The social world does not allow Peggy, the pill popping soccer mom, to reveal herself to the community as this would be a good example of bad impression management. For example, If Peg were to go out one evening and have a few too many with her friends, then somehow get tangled up in some prostitution scheme her cousin has been running from her living room without Peg knowing about it, then her presentation, her role as soccer mom, would be void and she would be abandoned by all her friends.
The explanations we seek again cannot be found on the slippery societal surface where the ice capades practice everyday. They can however be found on the you in the everyday. LLc 98.2
