Grandma said it best years ago when she made it very clear that EVERYTHING IS POLITICAL by screaming it loud enough for god himself to hear it directly. If she is correct, and I believe she is, then our entire social world is nothing more than the games they sell our children. Good preparation one would think... I wonder if one thing is not somehow connected to another thing later in life. It has to be that way I guess. And to think we call ourselves a Christian nation. Sounds more like deceit to this reader which falls clear of anything with good intentions and that folds together nicely with witchcraft. I wonder, are we all under some sort of spell? LLc 98.2

swirling world

A fascinating thing about all people; not just the young, is our capacity to dream and come up with ideas that bring forth even more ideas. The problem lies in the fact that most ideas are just that- ideas. Many ideas never get a chance to break off and out of the piece of paper they are forever a part of. There they lie on a scrap in a book somewhere only to be found bound inside some obscure notebook in an old locker out in the middle of some field in Idaho. Along with that fact is the reality of life which spells out clearly that the bills must be paid. This requires often doing things that are difficult and tiring. In time ideas die a natural death in another part of our swirling world. LLc 98.2

media infatuation

Infatuation with media propels us into the unknown, leading us on to new vessels from which to cling too to get us through. Words come through the lips all the same. Images appear on-screen all the same. " The world moves fast and you have to be in shape to keep up." What is it they produce besides verbal promises and refined images? This is what I am talking about. Words and images in media build nothing. They spur discontent with the self. Through media we have a barrage of choices that keep our minds moving. This is the direction to nowheres-ville USA. There is no direction. Like a wedding ring symbolic of love with no end, what we have today is a social ring with no end. The difference between the two is that one signifies love while the other signifies lust, craving, vanity, and the paving of a road using broken dreams of people lost in their media infatuation rings. Realness comes from the left-over seapage of man's hard line crap. A man is rarely what he seems. He has a disguise, a social one that hides his true dreams that lie in his minds eye. He lives by the social stigma given to him at birth. He learns to move around the bowl in his own time as he learns how to shine himself up and leave an impression on all the right people who believe in that sort of thing. Impressions are nothing more than acting instances of fancy motivated by a selfish desire to move around different social circles while keeping the ultimate prize in mind, whatever that prize be. no empiricism

Must we have empirical evidence to better understand human beings? I mean really, how in the Hell can this happen when there are so many variables and circumstances to consider? For example, let's say you want to measure the frequency with which your sons and daughters think about video games when they are not playing them. Let's say the choices in the survey are: a. 0-1 hours per day; b. 1-2 hours per day... and so on. We must first consider how many hours a day they actually play, what type of games they play more than others and why; and the list just keeps going on and on. Statistics are vital in understanding people patterns but they miss on so many other points.
The sun shines all around us and it comes from the inside of many spirits. These things cannot be empirically measured. LLc 98.2
