Balls!

I saw the beginning gamblers rolling over to the 7-11 this evening gettin a few of them scratcher tickets from the California Lottery just like I used to do alone. These guys were smart, they were playing the big sister/little brother routine trying to get that extra nut for the weekend party's. I know the story, it's really a great time of life. It is that time of life where two siblings can bond over a game that could net them significant financial rewards. I've been so piss poor lately I am thinking of going to that lifestyle again on a more permanent basis. LLc 98.2

The world needs pretenders now more than ever. You see, it is the pretenders who become giants. But this process must begin within a frame of anothers choosing. This "another" is the unseen truth you feel but cannot interpret. You just know it's there. The "frame" is the context of a seemingly unexplored garden you already know. If it is forced or occurs out of context and/or at the wrong point in your personal history based on what you had to begin with; along with every socialization opportunity that has been either presented to you or some other thing, then the flow, or currents in life will be stronger. What comes through thye changing tides is a more refined and wiser you. To have that benefit of experience is more valuable than a graham cracker at Christmas. LLc 98.2

Life's 2

Often I see in people display their displaced anger. By that I mean that these people have more than one issue that is associated with being down or empty; self perceived to be caught in an unending routine that has no attachments to anything new, fun, or exciting. So they routinely pick on the same people making themselves look and feel even worse (and better) as a matter of routine. If they only knew where to go and who to talk too they could break the ties that bind inside and begin to live their lives free from self hatred and self crime. This part of themselves suits television best because through television there is always a remedy, a way to avoid real life; to temporarily live in the preferred life... The Secondary Life. LLc 98.2

We all dream about stepping out into that new post. But how to make that first move away from the comfort that can be complacency and judgement toward others who may seem to be having not as difficult a time of it, is a time consuming task in and of itself. The truth is, nothing new can be absorbed from a place of capture. It is not about pursuing the unattainable, it is much more than that. It is human. It is human to expand and create, to live the dream contrived in a single moment or over time. No restrictions, no rules, no limits. Those are parts of the course you will have the best lie from which to strike your next shot. (News from the Mountain) LLc 98.2

Reciprocity is a necessary and vital function within any societal structure, espacially between two people. Not because of what results from it, but because relationships rely on the idea that like minded individuals assist one another in the various life processes they encounter whether they be classified as good or bad. If expectation, and it always does, becomes a part of this reciprocal relationship and one is not holding his/her end of the couch up high enough to move it from one side of the room to the other, then reciprocity has been altared in a way that directly affects the life mood of both people. Change is a natural part of life and with these changes must come changes in behavior between people whether they be lovers or not; business partners or not, or just friends. There can be no same treatment in a reciprocal relationship over time, only the memories of what used to be in relation to the reality of the now. LLc 98.2

It is apparent that history is becomming lost within the vastness that is technology. The ever widening gap between generations is clear enough to see in the everyday activity of people both young and old. Things are most certainly changing when people start talking to one another in person about the things they say they will talk about later in the day via the internet. Maybe it's the secrecy that comes with our new selves, our screen selves where we can delve into the possibility of future personality employment opportunities. (Kick and screaming) LLc 98.2

There are a select few in this world who constantly look to explore the technological possibilities as they relate to the future of society in the United States. In their mind the world is moving far too fast which is disrupting the natural order of things as they see it. They accept the fact that they have no control, but they cannot accept the ease with which everyone, including themselves, gives freely their will to privacy. How much of what we see is actually real? If it is not real, then how much time do people/we spend talking and thinking about that unreality of reality? Has reality become blurred by our preference to spend so much time away from it? What does not happen as we watch images one after the other mixed with intoxicating music? The thing is, these people walk among us. They look just like everyone else complete with families and homes and jobs and everything. As a matter of fact, they fit in so well that people; when they or if they find out anything about one or more of them, choose freely to believe what they have been duped into believing even after the truth has been revealed to them by one or more of them. In reality they will believe what they see through their own specks versus what they know to be true in the unreality of reality's design. LLc 98.2

The separation state occurs when someone's preplanned character becomes lost to the outside culminating into a perceived thread of what used to be a rope. A really nice thing is to have complete control of everything in your life. If anyone has complete control of everything in their life please contact me ASAP. There are many things I need to know about you and your world. What makes it work for you? How do you avoid the pitfalls of temptation and lust? How does wanting effect you and do you feel good about it? Are you comfortable living a life that is perfect in every way? As we all know these questions are moot. There is no way possible for a man in this world to have a perfect life. There is now and will always be some worry that breaks the concentration from time to time; some thing that makes you think far too much. Since we all know perfection is unattainable, wouldn't it be nice to live our average of 75 years in a way where even our failures inspire an inner life within another?

An artist in the truest sense has within his/her__ her/his personality a mode of thinking that lies in between all the various modes of thought that must be employed in some way in order to get through each day. This mode of thinking bares constant witness to human atrocity and malice; not by choice, but by some thing that has been talked about and denied in various ways throughout recorded history. A certain proportion of artists are unable to function normally in society because, in their eyes, the rules are more of an obstacle to be cleverly avoided than anything else. This of course leads them into some form of societal trouble. Other artists find through their content, context, and analysis of what they see a feeling of undeniable complexity filled with indescribable things that must be sorted out in some type of framework, some canvas, some type of something in some way. Some people have no choice in this life and a true artist is one of them. Their real subjective pain should never be taken lightly because it is through their expression that they give life to the life they know, the one they see that holds no compromises to anything but change as it is seen through the one lens that is clearly identifiable to them... the one thing they can and have always counted on, Times Charge. There are many good people in this world who have fallen victim to the social spell of consumerism. These people are active in the community; are good mothers and fathers who work and provide a good life for their chidren, and they go to church on every Sunday. They take trips once a year to get away from it all and relax in a state out of context where the rules they live by no longer apply. These good people are model citizens who symbolize the ideal life here in the United States. Of their top three things to do each day is to somehow buy goods along the way. LLc 98.2

"Television has progressively distinguished kid, teen, and, later, toddler and tween market segments through programming form, content, and style (Kenway and Bullen 2008), addressing each as distinctive from each other and from adults, encouraging certain activities, interests, and even subversive joys (Seiter 1993), while associating peer culture and youthful identity with messages of marketing, merchandising, and distinction (Kline 1993)." The individualization processes in the daily life of the average man has become so oriented toward television that to think about any other thing after a long day is to garner a feeling of being out of place and out of touch; feelings of being even more isolated than what television already provides. This is the Secondary Life. LLc 98.2

One of the more interesting things about living in a gambling town is the fact that the party really does never stop. If you are active in the social scene and people are making a little money here and a little money there, it is indeed possible to have the party last for days, weeks, even months on end. Characters in a gambling town are interesting in that a large proportion of them come from another spot in the country. They move to a gambling town looking for a constant state of something. Sometimes people need to be anonymous to try out different characterizations of themselves and a gambling town lends itself to that kind of thinking. In a gambling town there is always a constant state of something to look forward too. The people are usually friendly and overwhelmed with the possibilities. There is nothing like a gambling town to get lost in and find yourself within at the same time. LLc 98.2

Outside influences come into play and become to be a vital part of their electricity. The pull is more than just psychological, it is physiological as well. A someone walks into 7-11. The nice individual behind the counter says, " Hi, will that be all?" the someone shifts his head up and down and says,"No!? This is texting in a sense; free from emotion and gesture in the global communicative processes of today's technologies.
Notice the non-linearities: minstrels, mail, telegraph, telephone, cellular technologies and texting. Now people can connect world-wide in all possible ways possible. Our reliance on communication technologies like texting, for example, allows us to establish and maintain long and short distance relationships. One of the things texting lacks is a real sense of true human communication to include gestures, movements, tone of voice, and a multitude of other ways in which to better determine exactly the message that is being conveyed. We are more than capital letters expressed through fingers and towers traceable.
To this day, if a face to face meeting revolving around communication and interaction and the exchange of ideas is not possible, a well crafted e-mail through the real mail layed down on good paper will most assuredly have all emotional and relevant information conveyed in a way that is easily understood and always appreciated. Even misspelled words can show a lot about someone. LLc 98.2
Some of us become so entirely involved in the social frame that we lose our capacity to know the difference between what actually makes us happy as individuals versus what others socially recognize as being happy. One can then say emphatically, "This assumes that outward appearance is separate from inner experience; like we all hide certain thoughts and feelings about others from others during any type of social interaction; as if happiness is an outward act of posturing and presenting oneself as being happy. I mean, are we to do cartwheels and wear bibs in case we find the difficulty of our holding back our happiness too great causing us to salivate uncontrollably?" Polarization is unnecessary here. Some indeed find tremendous happiness in the social frame and that happiness is real and true. But the fact remains that one can only act in the social fame among other actors for so long in the day. Every actor must act alone at some point within the thoughts that come to mind during that all important alone time where we can physically and emotionally separate ourselves from the day. LLc 98.2

It is unfortunate/fortunate (depending from which lens one chooses to use and from what angle) that this generation, my generation, was around when technological innovations such as the internet and cellulare technologies were realized. Globalization has come as a direct offshoot of these technologies allowing for unlimited study in the area of social psychology and its effects on the everyday pertaining to family relationships, working relationships, personal relationships with each particular self and how each has a role in the both the inner and outer self; and how all these things are linked to technologies and our personal relationship with them in all their forms, functions, manifestations and/or otherwise. It is through the study of social psychology that one can grasp a better understanding of man's relationship with himself in direct proportion to everything that occurs around him/her. There are many phases to social endeavor. They include failure, failure, failure, failure, and then someone you know hooks you up with a job. Those who find personal success have a much longer road with many more let downs and failures to meander through. Those who endure through these social phases then remember what they have known the entire time. They remember what is valuable. Values are never stolen or bought off. They are enhanced by the flavor of those around us. Social life ages everyone out naturally, but the values we leave behind serve as examples to the younger generation. The young do not know failure, they expect success as if it was part of the natural order of things. LLc 98.2

Sometimes I think the world misses out on good people because policy and procedure within a particular structure hinders progressive thinking. Those who claim to know can sometimes miss out on things they didn't know because they have been playing their hand only. They forget that the game requires more than one hand to play. Anyone who holds a set of cards should have the ability to play his hand without being slammed by the "no talking" rule. But there are many hands to play and many ways to see what cards your opponents are holding. Policy and procedure hinders that part of the game, the enjoyment of it. No joy, no game. No game, all is the same. Policy and procedure is a social construction designed to set the deck before the hands are played. LLc 98.2

I was having a long day yesterday. I was feeling really bad and selfish about things. My whole frame was tilted just enough for me to feel like my head was going to pop. These things were true until I saw a man walking into the bank. He walked like a pretzel and had what seemed to be some form of multiple sclerosis. It is weird but I feel sometimes that there are waves of communication coming through me somehow. These communications may be imagined, they may even be leaning toward some form of psychosis. Needless to say, I suppose if one looks for these types of connections one could find them. The Secondary Life is not something that comes over time through experience. It is not something we get from reading a good book; that requires an investment in time and energy. No, The Secondary Life is based in mult-media transmissions. Through television, movies, and the internet we find our minds traveling off to the ficticious distance. The immediacy of media influence does much more than entertain us and influence us to buy things. It takes us to the place where we walk among the stars in situations they portray. We make comparisons to the fiction and feel either better or worse as a result. Some of us prefer to feel worse than others dictated by the kinds of programming they prefer. In time, this type of preference overrides the primary life that is based in reality. LLc 98.2

the meaning of the game

The problems all began once people started selling a swing, or a game, or a style, all in one frame- frame after frame after frame after frame. Then they added words to the page. Over time in its decline, the game was transferred from the book pages to the television screen and imprinted on little silver discs. Each disc contained a style all its own; each one different. The masses then took these images from pages and screens and and discs and began putting the words that came with the images and screens and discs to work- both on the inside and out; the way they felt was best for them. Once people realize that there is a reason for so many ways of doing the game, playing the game, and enjoying the game, they will better understand the meaning of the game. It is true however that some people find tremendous joy in breaking their swings down into their finite parts during some daily mental and/or physical ritual. Well, a golfer gets hooked on ideas that can from from anywhere. Some of the best advice a golfer can get regarding their golf game and how they play it comes from a simple word or group of words all strung together coming from the mouth of a perfect stranger. This of course is free of charge. LLc 98.2

Viewing Pleasure

We always rely on what we know or think we know about the world we live in. We know, for example, that we share this world with many other people. Various groups of people may have similarities and differences based on completely different ways of being. One group may value the same religious artifact but worship it in different ways; the holy cross for example. Be that as it may, we all understand that we are different with different values and ways of believing in things.
Within this country we have a problem. We have a mediation occurring that is taking from us our way of life. We are becomming weakened by our circumstance, but this is not our fault. Developments have come that have left a hole in our track; like a child who stops the maturation process inadvertently by going through "some" traumatic circumstance and then has a gap in learning that falls between the circumstance and where they are in real time. This gap can span weeks, months, and even years. It can be well hidden to brew long and hard on the inside. This one thing can affect the world view of any person.
We have a new religion, a new way from which to draw our strength. The infiltration was complete with the first generation being born into a world where images are beamed world-wide for everyone to see immediately. Now, with the immediacy of realtime information we have merged our way onto the shifting highway that has no end. Like the religion we praise, our new mediation and coordination is in full operation within the totality of our world. Although this is a small example of what can possibly be it is not difficult to see how one such thing can cloud the lens from which one sees.... the world. There are so many lenses. LLc 98.2

systems forever

We can sometimes talk our way into a whole other world. Our world can be a remedy, a spot, a home from within where the things that mean the most to us, and all the associated processes that inevitably come with, are there and ready available at our willing disposal. This is the grand place where we need to be because we have it built in beginning way back in our generational beginnings. By this I mean that those born in 1991 and above had the digital world handed to them without condition. That means that, for example, their modes of thinking could be completely different than generations before simply because of the new and exploding technological advances that began to shape our everyday. Is this an us they thing? I think not. There are just more ways of learning now once the filters get tuned on and tuned in. LLc 98.2

The Truth of Things

In allowing and being brought up around formal and informal discontent evidenced by the vast and unending array of fictional human drama not to be taken seriously; only as an avenue for entertainment and sociality among friends and family, we have all came to a significant place worth exploration in our time now. This new and growing place is a place of existence that is meaningful to each and every one of us. It is fed by the glare of screens in our faces and characters from many different places with the same kinds of things happening to them all. These things are human weaknesses such as lust, sloth, and so on and so forth. One does not need to bring religiosity into a conversation that is based on the truth of things. This is a conversation about the truth of things. LLc 98.2

It is an incorporation of change that begins from when the people of the city realize the city is as far as they are going. Beause change is inevitable there is a wide gap that is formed over time within the city that is in constant need of media filling. Through this way new fads get placed on display as the flow of consumerism constrains us. What we are now is manequin's in penguin suits. LLc 98.2

fantasy preferred

Someone decided in the not so recent past that it is preferrable for someone to make decisions with their head up their ass. Put your soul into the viewing mechanisms and watch it fly away with your dreams. Time will pass you by and all that will be left is you trying to find out what happened to your life. It was nothing more than the development of the unrealistic, the fantasy that is the secondary Life. LLc 98.2

The Secondary Life

Social Witchcraft and the Secondary Life.

This phenomena has been around for as long as man has been able to communicate his ideas. This is not a historical reference guide to imagination. What this is is the idea that once exogenous forces; either through language of action or language of thought, entered our lives as human beings, we have slowly been (over time) dividing our mental lives into various bits and pieces. From the advent of machinery through the age of enlightenment man has become more and more reliant in time to the development of his mental life.
From the first books inked off the first printing press to the television and computer world of today there is a marked difference in the way we people interact in our everyday lives. There has been a rush, a boom if you will that has taken from us; in many ways which I will identify, our capacity to intelligently make decisions that have not already been made for us in some way by some thing (people included).
The influence of television and movies have made us feel small in reality; and for some large in their secondary life which we all harbor inside our minds to varying degrees. This life is separate for all people yet combined in miniscule parts for small groups of people who may share that satisfaction of a mutually agreed upon version of inaccessible unreality or The Secondary Life. bullfrog

Time has made fools of us all. Historically speaking there have been countless men (and women) who have bamboozled countless groups of people into believing them and their philosophy. Because we are general idiots on the great time continuum, we have these inate tendencies to believe these individuals who bring us hope in some way, shape or form when we believe we need to hear it the most. It is not so much the words they say it is how they use those words to translate emotion. It is through emotion and belief that we remain shackled. LLc 98.2

little barkers

It is often difficult to gather enough strength to even consider the truth of a situation. Often the truth is well known to both parties, but the thought of change is much too drastic for any direct measures to be taken. There will usually be circumstances that bind the two together in some way. This is the common place to go for the maintenance and preservation of dis-happiness within the mainframe of the secondary life so chosen. LLc 98.2

the lions tummy

In a sense we are all followers. We are followers of the dreams of other people. Our entertainment requires this; our lives do too. Our only prerequisite is a mechanism through which our dreams can come true. This mechanism is nothing more than the free media exchange. Although media in and of itself is not to blame for this phenomena, it still provides a mechanism through which the dreams and aspirations of other people can be fulfilled in some way. The things we derive from what we see provide nourishment for the lion. LLc 98.2

The quitter may just be the most romantic person around. In his world perfection is the only outlet that is to be explored. To have any other way of viewing the world would be, in his eyes, a complete waste of time and not worth persuing at all ever.
