silent necessity

One of the worst kind of people on the planet are those who believe they are smart; a gift perhaps. Well, the only thing smart about us is the fact that we now have the capability to communicate globally. Forget about the ritualized performances we give each day as we fail to communicate with one another. No, we have transitioned our way into a land that has people who believe everything they see on television. Repeating what is heard on the tube makes no Rachel Ray out of you.
Television is nothing more than a market-place. To gain knowledge from T.V. is the same as gaining knowledge from an infant. Unless those claiming to have knowledge read something; experience something, or witness something that is stunningly spectacular, then their knowledge was gathered by someone who did one or all of these things. Smart people never say they are, they just are. Just as the man who does but does not speak, so too are the one's who remain in silence as a necessity to claim their prize.

stretching the same, down way down

People often say, "I do the best I can." This of course is an untruth but we use it anyway. We use a lot of things to get along in this world and most of them are completely untrue. We weigh our options and select the best avenue to wreck on. Once we have chosen our path, any deviation seems so unreal and unpromising. Doing the best you can is not possible; there just is not enough time in the day.
So we settle for things and placate to those we desire not to placate too. We wind up spending time with people who seem to have the same stretch of road as we do while making mental comparisons along the way. In our settlements we find the time to tell ourselves how well we are doing. But in reality we have closed off any possibility for changes to occur in any meaningful way. We become used to our ways of deception and make inner claims to ourselves that give reasonings to our immobility.
We don't do the best we can. If we did the economy would be flourishing and you would be better off than you are now-we all would. LLc 98.2

dreams they see

Is there a speech anyone can give that is not complete bullshit? Standing and talking says nothing for the sweat and tears of those who actually build things. These people are dreamers too, but they choose to create with their hands the dreams they see. They take the raw materials and hoist them high in the sky or low to the ground, fitting one piece together with another.
The words used by people in suits are self-designed and self-promoting. There is a flow to the structure that makes you laugh, think, and maybe reminisce about the better times that never were but can be again. Change is the inevitability of our life process. We need not press for it, only allow it to take place without earmarks by substandard people with far too much education and ego mixed with drive and connections. LLc 98.2
Sometimes getting lost is what needs to happen. Too often we find ourselves becoming something other than what we are or aspire to be. Often, what we become is far removed from what we feel is right. We get spellbound and county bound to one ideology; one systematic ritual of one thing leading to another. We do these things because we are required to make hard choices.
Since childhood we hear about what trials and tribulations our parents went through when they were young; which is all a load of crap because they were young and stupid once just like everyone else on this planet. They once screwed like Pygmy chipmunks in the forest just like all other 15 to 28 year old peeps. Once the kids come however, the chains and whips have to be put away only to be found years later by orphan kids in some cardboard box in Philadelphia. Most of the time I think we are all lost; lost in the mad barrage that is the equivalent of a slight of hand card trick in some side-show over in the Midwest someplace. We do not have to like being lost and drained from all the strenuous acting we have to do each day. Why do you think actors are so messed up? Yes we are all actors and we all get tired, which is why getting lost every now and again is such a good thing.

just screwed, get over it

I saw a commercial recently about how to keep skin looking luminescent. The actor was very young, about 20 or 21, and very sexy. As that actress gets older however, she will become less attractive and there is no amount of skin cream that will hide her age in the future. We are just fucked when it comes to that. Hold on to your youth they say. I laugh at them. Fuck them. Be proud of becoming older, fatter, and more and more unhappy. The alternative is unthought of, untaught, and unacceptable. LLc 98.2

expectations surpassed

If you go up to the sky, even momentarily in your mind, you would prefer it if that feeling were to remain forever. This is of course an impossibility, but those people who reach that certain climax maintain their successful persona by becoming aware early that the climax or goal is more easily attainable when the pursuit is varied and the result is unequal in its intensity. It is through the many variables in life we gain our character. Our character is the one thing in our lives that can actually improve when times are tougher. The distance in these cases between the sky and us is real and great, but the power of our character surpasses all Earthly and man-made expactations to the contrary. LLc 98.2

we do

It is amazing what we miss in life depending on where we were born or currently live. we dream of new york or california, but few of us actually see these places. we keep the dream inside where it has thrived forever it seems. maybe it's better there. maybe it's better inside. that way nobody can steal it or criticise it. i guess we all do that. i guess we do that well. llc 98.2
