we do

It is amazing what we miss in life depending on where we were born or currently live. we dream of new york or california, but few of us actually see these places. we keep the dream inside where it has thrived forever it seems. maybe it's better there. maybe it's better inside. that way nobody can steal it or criticise it. i guess we all do that. i guess we do that well. llc 98.2

sublime separation

Inside the mind of every person exists an alternate life, one that is separated from the sublime. It is the wishful and imaginative one that has fewer fears and more ideas than the you that every sees. It has attached to itself no boundaries; not like the ones you have now. No, the alternate life is beyond reflection, it is beyond the symbolic show, and it has only wishes and dreams to fall back on. Some people believe that is enough. Still others believe that these boxed in desires are symbolic of some sort of inner flaw that exists within you. There are no flaws in these matters. To call into question what cannot be known is rediculous because the things I am talking about never get heard by anyone. The alternate life is just as important as the fake one we live now. planned packages and dreams

Sitting alone at your desk dreaming of the most fascinating journeys in life, you begin planning the package to increase the probability of higher comfort levels in all stages of travel. You decide on a destination. The journey is to be grand and the camera ready for even the most unusual sights at the most unusual times. As you arrive after many tedious hours of sleepiness and restlessness, you are tired and ready for food and rest. You do not know who you will meet or how much time you will have during the next day to see every sight and take in every delight, but you anticipate great things to experience.
Carrying out your plans is a total effort. Very much different than the lonely night at your desk when all was quiet and clear. Very much different than the reality you have experienced, your journey becomes remarkable from the very first morning of the very first day.
Reflecting back, the people you met along the way were from different cultures and countries. They all had their charm and essence. The person you became as a result of your journey is coated in what humanity brings to this planet: personality, pride, and progress.
Sitting alone at a desk is but one step in the greater process. If there need be such a sceme, may it be based solely upon a dream. All things begin there. LLc 98.2

recover and cover

It was extra cold this morning man let me tell you. It was cold enough for me to consider alternate plans for the day at the very moment I stepped out of the fucking car. As usual, the forecast was off by about 25 degrees. I was wearing shorts and a tee with another shirt; a double wrap so to speak. Huge mistake as my legs, hands, and feet were frozen for the entire first portion of the event. I had to stand by the fire and look on with desire as the hamburger patties were being prepared by the charcoal fire just outside the clubhouse. It was truely a saving grace to have fire nearby.
The hamburgers were tender and juicy and all three of them hit me where I needed to be hit. It was cold but my belly was full so I said to myself, "screw it dude, suffer. It will warm up soon." Sure enough the second portion of the event was blanketed with sunlight and warmth, only 4 hours off and 25 miles to the East of where all that cold weather should have been. In retrospect, I was the smart one for wearing shorts and just as soon as I get out of the hospital I will cash in that gift certificate I won so I can buy 2 dozen balls. A hundred bucks! Now what is wrong with those numbers there? That is correct! It is far too much fucking money to pay for balls. Especially when mine are currently being removed from way up inside my throat. Yes, it was a cold fucking day and there is no way on any day I will put myself through that kind of misery again. Well, maybe once I recover.

spend wisely

The recognition of time places a roadblock among the many already on the pathway of our ultimate demise. Why do we recognize the obvious? What is it about the obvious that is so scary? Every time we use time as an excuse to not to do anything, we have just waisted some of it. As if we have so damn much of it to waist, we continue to do so arbitrarily. LLc 98.2

lint sticky

Politics is a lovely game, we all play it well. We manage to tell ourselves how good and cool we are when we are nothing more than broken bottles near the fence in the alley behind the old hardware store on 21st street. The remnants of hotshots permeate the very air we breathe. Parks and monuments have been built for smiling, white faced millionaire politicians. That means the parks kids play on are based in politics, which has a firm and battle tested foundation in bullshit. That means parks and monumants are like lint sticking to the side of a washing machine. LLc 98.2

inspirational waters

Inspiration has valves that open and close at different times during the natural cycles of our world. The design of these mechanisms fall into place on a scheme of silent discontent that leaves the familiar trail of suffering and tears; ripped and torn clothing stained with your blood and the blood of other's. Inspiration comes from the experiences of both the good and bad in our lives. We continually hope for the good things and do the best we can, at times, to avoid the bad things that inevitably come. I suppose inspiration has its dark and dreary side, but the wonder of it all is our belief systems, whatever they may be. Through these mechanisms we can somehow tap that valve even when the water is slowed to but a drip. It does not take much of that kind of water to make the unheard of heard and the unseen not only seen but felt by many. LLc 98.2
