peppermint sticks and snow cones

There was a miracle this morning and I was a part of it. The forces that showed themselves plainly allowed me to only for a second see the possibilities. I sat on the couch and removed my hat. Without thinking I tossed it with a twirl towards the hat rack thinking it would somehow catch just right and hang itself. The miracle happened. Not only did the hat catch the rack, it caught the one part of the rack I was looking at. Not one second later, the hat adjusted itself just as I would have had I placed it there with my own hand. It was a perfect miracle and it happened without me putting in any effort. It was done as if it had been done a thousand times before in exactly the same way. I suspect that if I were to go back in time and try that again the results would be quite different; maybe not, who is to say? Anyway, the miracle was real. It happened gracefully and without thought and it made me smile. To me, that's a pretty cool way to open up the day. How many miracles will you be a part of today? LLc 98.2
There are many who take and don't know how to balance that out by giving. Once someone gets in the habit of taking, any consideration for payback on their part is rare. It can become addictive. Because those who do nothing but take live an off balanced life, they can act as a sort of black hole that sucks everything in while kicking out nothing. Intentions may be good, but their stories rarely match from day to day; week to week as the struggle to maintain their taking mentality during the daily grind continues unabated. If they only knew what lies ahead of them. The natural world has a way of balancing these kind of people out. The universal rule is whatever you dish out, and it comes only from a selfish place, you can expect a minimum of ten times coming back to you. But the difference is that getting back ten times takes even more time and it comes from a wider group of people to include strangers, animals, and anything else that can have an effect on those who take. Over time these takers will require more and more as future circumstances will become like a juggling act with many dropped balls and unhappy children looking on in sadness and despair. LLc 98.2

many missed steps

Forcing an issue, any issue, even if it comes to life in the grandest of ways will never fill the hole all the way to the top. There will always be layers missing due to the many missed steps along the way. Each one of those steps needs to get really dirty over time. If just one step is jumped over due to a stain or skid mark from the dogs behind part, in the future there will be more than one time when a situation presents itself and you find no viable solution. In a panic you will do the easiest thing, the most likable and acceptable thing, just to keep the majority of criticisers off your back; if even for a day. If things work out fine over time, you will find yourself just like the rest and not at your best. LLc 98.2

poodles and puppets

Anything new scares us all, but the possibilty of the same should be even more so. We are wisher's and hoper's, dreamers and schemers. We are none the less creatures occupying land at a temporary status; in this place now; at this time, which belongs to us forever. That means life is itself timeless infinity. LLc 98.2

fitting field of play

One thing keeps rolling around in that thick head. The evidence is written all over the place. The clothes, the hair, the shoes, everything shows there is something happening on the inside plantation. Yet still there are the same activities to participate in and smiles to wear the entire way through. Behind the decorated view lies a sensitive side that brings waves of negativity during the performance. This sick feeling may waver from time to time, but you can bet that that feeling will only grow in its intensity as the years turn to decades. Until resolution comes in some way, that one thing will eventually hurt more than just one. That burden can be handed down to the next generation and so on leading to a plethora of tarnished dreams and false wishes to be enjoyed. A perfect fit considering the playing field. LLc 98.2

everything to do with you

Consistency comes through fluidity. If you are choppy and unorthodox, you will have a choppy and unorthodox type of life; probably shorter than the average as well. The choppy people are fun to hang with, but learning anything from them is an uphill climb. They do try but fail; which is more than most people do.
So, how do we become more consistent in life? If I knew the answer to that one, I would never tell anyway. But, being consistent has nothing to do with routine. It has nothing to do with acting the same in every situation. It has everything to do with you. Understanding you is hard to do in this place now. Self analyzing reveals all but misses many points.
Thinking and doing are two separate things, but thinking is required before action. If actions are done in accordance with the fluid model of consistency; separate from me and you, then daily life will be less stressful. Eliminate the anger horses, they drag you behind them. Eliminate anything in your life that causes you to be comfortable in your stress. That is addictive because it opens up the excuse vault; usually consistent with family inconsistencies.
If you enjoy fooling yourself, then there can be no fluidity. No fluidity equals no satisfaction. From there your simply screwed until you find the time to be honorable to you. It is ok to be unorthodox. Just be prepared to sail upon rough waters from time to time. Check the sail that comes with your discontent. I bet it is consistently present locked away inside that big storage unit of your mind; all white and creased. LLc 98.2

wandering and wonder

I see people wandering about, going through the motions, searching for some thing. I see them smile and laugh then stop and move on as they answer their cell. Look around you sometime and see how many people would rather be somewhere other than where they are. This fits perfectly with the scheme of things these days. There just is nothing out there that will ever be good enough for us. We have too many chances, too many directions in which we can travel. Making a viable decision is complex and often difficult. Our reliance on other people to guide us through is a failing proposition. How can anyone know what goes on inside the wandering ones. I am one, are you? LLc 98.2
