Issues between the sexes there are many. What is so displeasing is how unrealistic we can be not only to ourselves but to others as well. The constant search for the utopian eistence is futile as one cannot even make it real inside his or her own mind. Some may say it is better to at least have a utopian plan or lasting image of something better than to have a defeatist attitude. I say it is unrealistic and counter-productive to have such images but none of us can help it. A man has images in his head. They include exactly and precisely what we see everyday. Is that a real existence? The issues between the sexes are many and we are all unrealistic and we all suffer because of it. Now that is real!
Being real about someone is never enough. Loving someone is never enough. Nothing will ever be enough. I feel sad for people who see things this way. This is something I see each and every day. There is wisdom in silence and balance in acceptance. No acceptance, no balance. Such a sad cycle of fake smiles and greying hair, bad actors with blank stares. Is this what we are now? Are we sad actors with fake smiles? Are we really ever satisfied in our quest for love? The answer is yes. There is love and it is very real. And when it bites ya, it's your ass baby! lol
