impossibility
If you are in search of something, the chances are very good that you are searching in the wrong places. One thing to remember in the social world is that it is every man for himself. The individual actions of any actor will always come before the intention to assist anyone else in their times of whatever crisis they are involved with. This could be any number of things: ears, nose, throat issues; family issues, personal issues related to true happiness (rare), frustration with life position, etc. Searching for anything in the messiness of lies (especially the ones we tell ourselves and try and make ourselves believe even though we know deep down inside we are way, way off), is next to impossible.
