The world is changing. No longer are the Puritans running the show with Bible in hand. Just as people change, family dynamics change as well. Holding on to what once worked may not be good enough in our world today. Education may not be good enough today. But the question is what is good enough?
We buy a car we can't afford to maintain or uplift our presentation. We buy clothes to impress and show off our unique and personal style. We say things they want to hear and we do this because we have other things we are trying to accomplish. In so doing, we lose sight of the valuable things; the things we miss when we lay alone in a hospital bed. It is funny, but we never miss our chains, bracelets, cars, homes, etc. In essence, we know what is valuable to us when the chips are down and we are not out showing off to strangers who care not in the least.
Family dynamics are becoming more and more varied, but the differences between families only serve to strengthen the arm of our country, not weaken it. LLC 98.2
