many mistakes

Mistakes we make many. We make enough of them to reflect upon for decades to come. Yet we continue to make them as if they were part of the summer program at church. We accept them as part of life going in; which then sets us up for even more mistakes that have justifications attached directly to them. It becomes a circle that has no breaks in it and the spinning just keeps going on and on. We hang out with like minded people whom we believe have at least some understanding of who we are as people. As we get older we realize they were around us for another purpose, one in which that was intentionally designed. Besides that, the mistakes we make always seem to be similar to one another. Even if they are completely separate from each other, we can merge them into one cohesive bunch. From there we can manufacture or spin our way through it. We know how to do this well because we have been practicing since childhood. Yes mistakes we make many, but the excuses are all the same. LLc 98.2

felt more than that

Music can be a catalyst, a formulation, a way of grasping the realities of life we try so desperately to avoid. Through music we find the accomplishment of organization; the things that would otherwise not be so. Imagine a single life without some form of music. See, it cannot be done. It is as old as time and as natural as soap suds. Music is not only a catalyst, it could also be felt as much more than that. Music can be the driving force behind all human movement. If that be the case, we need an infusion of original music but quick.

good we should

I judge you first by your looks because that is what I see. I then have a conversation with you to see where your world is located and how full of shit you are. You do the same to me. We dance this way until the music stops so when can get to know each other better in some dark corner of the bar. I become fascinated with you. For one thing you smell fantastic like a fresh from the oven apple pie. Good enough to eat I say to you directly. You respond by saying you look like a juicy steak fresh from the fire and all pink-like. We leave the bar and have really good sex for the next three days. We judge, we live, we make errors; but sometimes we judge right and it feels good. Sometimes we all just need to feel good, we really should.

focal point finder

What compels people is a meriad of things. Often, regret and imbalance become constants in our equations. In time we tend to forget our focal points and bypass the right roads for the shorter more easily accessible ones. "I just want things to be easier", we tell ourselves silently and aloud when the proper people are around. In doing so, we have a tendency to meander down even the easiest of paths. Not because we are drunk but because we are thinking of something else. That thought process is not a sign. It is one way the mind informs us that what what we are doing is absolutely incorrect and out of our character. It is one of the meriad of things that make our lives contradictory. Human's, ain't we funny? LLc 98.2

that hope that rope

I guess when it comes down to it, when all is said and done, we want to be able to look back on a life filled with dreams. I used to think those dreams had to become manifested in real life, but I was mistaken. I was mistaken because our dreams need to be right where they are, some of them anyway. For example, I dream of simply walking on the grounds of Augusta National. I dream of walking on the property; breathing the air from the trees and flowers that are all over the place where history has been made. To play the course would be far too much for me to handle. Given the chance however, I would most definately make that round of golf the longest ever played in recorded history. What is your dream? I think, when all is said and done, we need dreams to be dreams. We need to have that hope that rope to hang on to even when we know holding that rope only prevents us from the fall of reality. This is humanity at its finest. LLc 98.2

unauthentic

There is never a need to push someone once said. This is fine unless someone needs pushing. The machine runs at different speeds. Not because it is designed that way but because the people who are involved sometimes get in the way of the whole machine itself. This occurs because people believe they have certain powers over other people; in their job this may be the case. However, what is important is empathy. There is no real power over anyone, but if it needs to be that way then the one who holds the stick better have empathy somewhere in that powerful frame or that power is of little value other than what it seems to be- unauthentic. impressions

We all need to make impressions upon people especially if we are looking for certain kinds of mobility such as moving up in a job or having more free time with the little corn pickers. Impressions are what we do and it is through impressions that certain kinds of people learn the art of manipulation. Some call it "impression management" while other's would say it is nothing more than manipulation and augmentation of social situations to suit ones self interest. These people really do think they're smart. They may be smart, but in reality they are known for what they are first; before anything else that may be better but remains on page four of the newspaper that is who they are. Everyone reads that one and everyone is aware of the intentions they represent in their presentation of self. Page one gives off the impression that they are something special due to the complex language and smooth handwriting.
